The Chinese American Association of Charlotte (CAAOC) invites you to join us for the 2025 Lunar New Year Gala, an evening filled with cultural richness, spectacular performances, and community celebration. This annual event is one of the most anticipated gatherings in Charlotte and marks the joyous arrival of the Year of the Golden Snake.

Featuring a flash mob and vibrant drum performances by CAAOC's collaborating groups and other talented performers.

Act One: A Glorious New Journey 锦绣新程

Traditional dances such as The Elephant King's Journey and Zhaojun’s Farewell to China
Group singing of New Year blessings and children’s idiom songs
Martial arts displays and lively drum dances

Act Two: Ringing in the Year of the Golden Snake 金蛇狂舞

Classical Chinese instrumental music and dances like Tang Palace Night Feast
Fashion showcase highlighting traditional Chinese attire
Guzheng (Chinese zither) duet performances accompanied by dance

Act Three: Asian Night 亚裔之情

Mongolian, Uyghur, and Asian multicultural dances
Sword dances and violin ensembles
A grand finale medley featuring all performers celebrating unity and joy
